The Pioneer Affordable Housing Project in Eldoret has entered its final phase of construction, with works now focused on interior and external finishing touches ahead of completion. Ongoing activities include cabinetry installation, painting, landscaping, and the construction of cabro-paved access roads and pedestrian walkways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The landmark development comprises 15 residential blocks offering 2,148 modern housing units. It also features 104 commercial shops and a supermarket, a health clinic, a kindergarten, and a range of recreational amenities, including a clubhouse, swimming pool, basketball court and children’s play areas, creating a vibrant and self-sustaining community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In line with the Government’s commitment to sustainable urban development, the project incorporates integrated waste management systems designed to promote environmental conservation and enhance residents’ quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond providing quality and affordable homes, the project has created hundreds of employment opportunities for local residents during the construction phase, while generating business for suppliers, contractors and small enterprises, thereby stimulating economic growth in Eldoret and the wider Uasin Gishu County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The successful implementation of the project has also been supported by close collaboration between the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration, local administrators, communities and other stakeholders, ensuring a secure and conducive environment throughout the construction period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
