Alameda Healthcare Expands into Kenya with Cutting-Edge Nairobi Clinic

Alameda Healthcare Group, a leading private healthcare provider in Egypt, has officially opened its first clinic in Nairobi—marking a significant step in its expansion across Africa and strengthening its commitment to improving access to high-quality medical care on the continent.

Situated at Landmark Plaza, the new multispecialty facility brings advanced diagnostic and treatment services to Kenya. Equipped with modern medical technology and staffed by highly specialized physicians, the clinic offers integrated care across key disciplines such as cardiac sciences, oncology, neuroscience, renal care, orthopedics and spine, and gastrointestinal and liver diseases. The approach emphasizes precise diagnostics and coordinated treatment pathways for better patient outcomes.

The launch event drew senior government officials, healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders, highlighting the importance of cross-border partnerships in enhancing healthcare systems across Africa.

To mark the opening, Alameda Healthcare provided free consultations led by expert physicians from both Egypt and Kenya, demonstrating its patient-first philosophy and dedication to immediate access to quality care.

Neeraj Mishra, CEO of Alameda Healthcare Group, described the move as a strategic milestone: the Nairobi clinic, he said, reflects the organization’s commitment to bringing specialized care closer to patients while fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge transfer. He also noted Nairobi’s importance as a gateway for the group’s broader regional ambitions.

The new clinic is part of Alameda Healthcare’s long-term strategy to expand access to advanced medical services across Africa, while reinforcing Egypt’s role as a regional hub for specialized healthcare. Patients will benefit from continuity of care, early diagnosis, and access to highly specialized treatments within Alameda’s network in Egypt.

Hatem Youssri, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Kenya, welcomed the development as a sign of strengthening bilateral relations and Egypt’s growing contribution to healthcare development across Africa.

Fredrick Otieno Outa, Ambassador of Kenya to Egypt, emphasized the clinic’s role in supporting Kenya’s vision of becoming a regional medical hub, highlighting the value of collaboration and knowledge exchange between Kenyan and Egyptian healthcare professionals.

The launch aligns with Kenya’s ongoing investment in healthcare infrastructure and its rising status as a center for medical excellence in the region. By combining global expertise with strong local partnerships, Alameda Healthcare aims to raise standards of care and broaden access to advanced medical services nationwide.

Government of DRC Calls on Prime Minister Johnson at ‘ Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) Rwanda 2022’ to Compel Kagame to End Attacks

Government of DRC Calls on Prime Minister Johnson at ‘ Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) Rwanda 2022’ to Compel Kagame to End Attacks

Yesterday, the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo considered the potential suspension of all bi-lateral agreements with the Government of Rwanda, following an extraordinary meeting of the Security Council that included the Presidents of both Chambers of Parliament and the Heads of National Security.

“M23 terrorists backed by Rwanda have occupied and pillaged the city of Bunagana in the territory of Rutshuru, province of Nord-Kivu, killing young children and forcing hundreds to flee in terror. The security situation in the East of the country continues to deteriorate, and fundamentally because Rwanda seeks to occupy our land, rich in gold, coltan and cobalt, for their own exploitation and profit. This is an economic war for the battle of resources, fought by Rwanda’s terrorist gangs.” said President Felix Tshisekedi.

President Felix Tshisekedi called on all international leaders to support the DRC, and pressure the Rwandan leader Paul Kagame to end all violence towards Congo and recall their military troops which have invaded the eastern territory of Congo, and caused deaths, refugees, and war crimes against women in particular.

“We have the right to demand that our neighbours respect our territory. The people of DRC want peace, seek security in their homeland. Eastern Congolese civilians are innocents under brutal attack from our neighbour. We ask our international partners, in Africa, the US and especially the UK to condemn this invasion, and pressure Rwanda to withdraw its troops from our land. Given the UK’s recent $150 Million immigration deal struck with Rwanda, we hope that Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be able to leverage his influence.”, said President Felix Tshisekedi.

In his opening speech to Congo’s political representatives and civil society on 9 June, King Philippe of Belgium underlined “the preservation of the territorial integrity of the Congo is a major concern” shared by Belgium. Alexander De Croo, the Prime Minister of Belgium, also stated during the Royal visit that “Each country has the right to defend the integrity of its territory” and that Belgium was ready to play a role in bringing stability and peace to Eastern Congo, where attacks from the M23 rebel group, backed by Rwanda, have escalated in recent weeks. The United Nations Security Council called in May for foreign armed groups to disarm and return to their own countries. The African Union has called for dialogue.
