KUSO has called on government to increase HELB fund

Kenya University Students Organisation has come out to urge government to release HELB fund to the university students.

Speaking during the event which brought all University leaders from across the country said helb should be increased from the current 60,000 to 200,000 to fulfil students needs.

Mr Jesse Saruni said as a union we are ready to work with all students in order to achieve the put down goals and urge the ministry education to also come closer to work with the students.

The union has also ask government to support the vulnerable students who might need the bursary funds.

“We ask government to provide students with enough security in all our universities”,he said

The organisation congratulated president Ruto for appointing the youths in his government.

President was accompanied with top leadership of KUSO.
