Hon. Abraham Kirwa has said that government should first truck privatize most of government institutions to cut on spending towards build economy.
Mosop Mp has said borrowing too much abd is dangerous to economy, he has requested the Central Bank in planning in stabilizing the shillings.
He has given example of companies like Kenya Airways is such a company that doesn’t promote economy at all.
The Head of State instructed the relevant parties to commence the review of the Privatization Act with a view to repealing it and replacing it with a more facilitative framework that will accelerate the privatizations.
The Mp who is a member of privatisation committee in the national assembly has urged government to carry out privatisation of government properties.
“Last year President William Ruto said his administration targets to privatize between six to ten government-owned firms in the next twelve months,”
The pronouncement is aimed at attracting more investors into the bourse that has seen little or no major investments over the last six years.
