Chesumei constituency Member of parliament Hon. Paul Yego a Member of Finance committee asked the Treasury to ensure the funding reaches the constituency as they promised on time.
Speaking to journalists in Mombasa during Parliamentarian Induction in Mombasa, which was to discuss possible bills for 2023,he said ,”we have applauded the Treasury for partial payment “he adds
He said that Mps protested witnessed during the first day of the induction meeting in Mombasa, was as a result pressure from the constituency and need to take children going school.
He said CDF is one of the key milestone to all constituencies and well achievement to most of the projects in the constituency.
Therefore,he said if well supported by all stakeholders it will serve kenyans well.
“I have requested Mps and the national government to implement the fund in full.”he said
He has appreciated the president who has been supportive to the CDF allocation.
