Treasury CS risk being first to go through impeachment motion by N.A ,says Mandera East MP
Mandela East Mp Hon. Hussein Weyta says if the Treasury will not disburse the 100% of CDF by 14th next month, he risk being impeached as the first Cabinet Secretary in the hustler government.
He said upto now the fund is still little and below the expected target by all constituencies.
Therefore, he has advised the Treasury to first be careful and critical when disbursing the fund to all constituencies because not all are the same population.
Hon. Hussein said the debt economy has gone higher and their are some projects you can’t do with the CDF alone.
” I will urge the government to increase more funds within the specified time to help the constituency in doing some projects.”, he adds
He says the President Ruto promised to ensure counties or constituencies get enough funds and on time,he said let the government put it as a priority.
However the constituency is also getting the supported from the county government.
Mandera East constituency plans to issue bursary to over 2000 to 5000 students mostly secondary schools and primary.
