
KABETE, KIAMBU COUNTY* – Kabete Member of Parliament Hon. James Wamacukuru has reaffirmed his commitment to improving infrastructure following an inspection of several ongoing road projects aimed at enhancing connectivity and stimulating economic growth across the constituency.
The legislator toured the Phase Two construction of Gathang’i and Maina Road as well as the upgrading to bitumen standards of Kihururu–Kamoriani–Kwa Henry Road, expressing satisfaction with the progress made.
Wamacukuru noted that quality road infrastructure is a key driver of development, saying improved roads will ease the movement of people and goods, reduce transport costs, enhance access to schools and health facilities, and open up markets for farmers, traders, and small businesses.
He emphasized that the projects form part of his broader development agenda to modernize Kabete’s infrastructure and improve the quality of life for residents through strategic investments.
Residents have welcomed the ongoing works, describing them as transformative projects that will spur economic activity, attract investment, and strengthen local commerce by improving accessibility throughout the constituency.
The MP reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the projects are completed to the required standards and on schedule, noting that infrastructure development remains central to his vision of a more connected and prosperous Kabete.
